The Last Frontier
September 1942. The forces of Nazi Germany and its allies are relentlessly advancing toward the Caucasian oil fields. The Turkish army is already poised, should they succeed, to deliver a decisive blow to the USSR. It seems that no force in the entire world is capable of stopping the Nazis anymore…
But such a force emerges from the ruins of the small Black Sea city of Novorossiysk, nearly wiped off the face of the earth after fierce battles fought by the Red Army against the vastly superior forces of the fascist occupiers. For its defenders and residents, the enemy-ravaged streets become the last frontier where they must make the one and only right choice – to win at any cost or lose everything.
The book is intended for a wide audience interested in military literature and the history of World War II. It recounts the heroic pages of the legendary Novorossiysk defense of 1942–1943, which fundamentally turned the tide of the battle for the Caucasus in favor of the USSR and, consequently, determined the outcome of the entire war in favor of the anti-Nazi coalition.

Translated Editions
In November 2020, the novel was translated into Italian by Matteo Mazzoni, and in April 2023 it was translated into English by Debarati Dutta.
Furthermore, in March 2022, Syrian literary translator Adnan Djamus completed the Arabic translation of the novel, and the book was registered among the foreign works scheduled for publication in Damascus according to the Executive Plan of the National Translation Project of the General Books Council under the Ministry of Culture of the SAR for 2022. However, because Sergey Konyashin openly criticized the war against Ukraine launched by Putin on February 24, 2022—and, disagreeing with Kremlin policies, left Russia in May 2022—the book was withdrawn from publication at the request of the Russian authorities, and its release in Arabic did not take place.
